Ah, yes! The days are getting shorter and there’s a crispness to the night air. We shouldn’t have been surprised then, while walking through the local farmers market, to see another sign of autumn: caramel apples. We bought one to satisfy our immediate craving for the sticky, gooey, juicy goodness, but will have to buy some sticks and bring out the candy thermometer to make a batch of our own. Until then, relish in the sight of things to come!
